About Grant-Tutoring

Grant-Tutoring understands the struggle faced by students in and out of the classroom. We are here to help your child(ren) learn, maintain, and excel. Grant-Tutoring offers affordable, flexible tutoring to meet the needs of any student grades K-12. Whether your child is enrolled in public/private school or homeschool, We can provide help with homework, preparation for state tests, college entrance exams, or simply extra practice. With consistent tutoring, we can help your child(ren) reach his/her greatest potential.

Founder

My name is Colby Grant, the founder and CEO of Grant-Tutoring. I’m a teacher that started out as an “Uber-Tutor” driving to students houses, libraries, and local coffee shops because I wanted to help students improve in their academics. My goal was to make them feel confident going into class everyday for class activities, tests, and exams. Every trip was worth it. Grant-Tutoring wasn’t something I planned to create. It started as an idea that just kept growing and growing into something bigger than I could ever imagine.

Do not have time to meet up? Are you always on the run with after-school activities? Fear no more, we can tutor online! All you need is an electronic device with a camera. How does this work you ask? We will email you a link that will allow you to share your screen and have face to face communication.

Session cancellation

If a session cancellation is needed, please inform the tutor at least one hour in advance. If you have already paid and you do not give a notice of cancellation, you will not receive a refund. If you are 10 minutes late to the session, without notifying the tutor, the session is automatically canceled and no refund will be awarded. So please just communicated with us!

Payment method

Payments must be made through Venmo or Cash App. No cash or checks are accepted. Payments are due two hours before the session begins. Invoices are sent out the night before or the morning of the session. The payment apps can be accessed with IOS, Android, and your desktop.
